**Survival Kit**

**Introduction**

In a world filled with claims of being the "ultimate survival kit," we choose honesty over hyperbole. Our survival kit isn't about promising everything you might need, but rather offering a strategic advantage in critical situations.

At the core of our philosophy lies the rule of 3's:

- 3 seconds without hope - Probably the most important point. Having a survival kit on you gives you the hope to initiate even-thing you can do to survival and the tools to do so.

- 3 hours without shelter - This is always the first step, set up a shelter or fire (fire is a form of shelter)

- 3 days without water With the capability of purifying 5 liters of water, this should allow for at least 3 days of water.

- 3 weeks without food

Acknowledging the constraints of everyday carry, we focused on two essential elements: fire-making and water purification. Complemented by cordage and other indispensable tools, our kit equips you for survival without burdening your daily routine.

**Exclusions**

It's important to recognize the limitations of our minimalist approach. Our kit doesn't include a knife, recognizing that environments requiring one necessitate a dedicated, quality blade. Similarly, due to size constraints, shelter and compass elements aren't included, as they're best carried separately for optimal functionality. Wire saws, deemed unreliable and space-consuming, also didn't make the cut.

**The Belt**

*Paracord 310kg Rated*: With 3 meters of versatile orange paracord, supplemented by additional strands for repair and fishing, this component serves multiple purposes, including fire starting.

*Paracord 90kg Rating*: Offering 6 meters of durable orange paracord, this variant is ideal for lashings, gear repair, and other essential tasks.

*Duct Tape*: Approximately 2 meters of duct tape provide a versatile solution for gear repair, first aid, and fire starting.

**Water Kit**

This essential component comprises a one-liter water bag, a smaller bag for collection, a coffee filter for sediment removal, and Aquatab water purification tablets. With sufficient tablets to purify three days' worth of water, this kit prioritizes hydration in survival scenarios.

**Fire Kit**

Featuring a compact whistle/fire striker combo, stormproof matches, cotton wool buds, magnesium powder, and a magnifying glass, our fire kit ensures reliable ignition in any condition.

**Signalling**

Included are a high-decibel whistle, a laminated signaling mirror, an 80-lumen torch, and a light-equipped balloon for effective day and night signaling.

**Miscellaneous**

Additional items such as an expandable towel, Utili-Key multitool, pencil sharpener for tinder creation, aluminum foil for various uses, fish hooks and snare loops for potential hunting, and safety pins and paper clips for gear repair and everyday utility round out the kit's offerings.

Each component is carefully selected to maximize utility and minimize bulk, ensuring readiness without compromising mobility. This professional-grade survival kit is your trusted companion for unforeseen challenges.

JT PHYLOSOPHY

ADDING TO YOUR BELT

we always recommend adding to your belt. Personally, I always carry approximately 100 euros in the belt which is enough for a couple of cheap meals and a cheap hotel for a night where I live. Also, I carry things like antihistamine pills and copies of my passport and other documents.
